The energy and optimism and was palpable. There was definitely a buzz in the air.
Just when you thought you had heard the last best speaker and heard the best advice of your life… along would come another speaker and blow you away.
So taking the advice of speaker and Harvard case-study, Carla Ann Harris who said 'When you learn something - share it!' Here's what we thought were some of the more memorable and sharable moments and advice.

2nd Keynote Speaker: Sallie Krawcheck. "Ellevate Network, Ellevate Asset Management - past head of Merrill Lynch & Smith Barney - past research analyst - mom - crazed UNC basketball fan." @SallieKrawcheck
1. Say 'YES' when opportunities at work arise - particularly if it's uncomfortable for you. For example, take that job overseas. It will add massive value to your resume.
2. Have GRATITUDE. Chances are - no matter what you are doing at work - you are blessed to have a job and better off than many who don't.
3. Have a sponsor at work that is actively gunning for you. (like Carla said!)
4. Your Network matters. Who you know is what you know. These people are also more than likely to bring you your next job or opportunity.
And have a Network outside your office. Diversify to learn and grow.
5. 90% of women want to have a social impact. Meaning and purpose in their work is paramount.
6. Know your professional mission. This will help you to stay focused on what you REALLY want to do with your life.
7. The Secret to Resilience is GRATITUDE.
8. Networking is like an investment. You must put something into it first to get something out of it. You need to do one thing nice for someone in your network every week. … Even if you just send an email saying 'Hi'. Stay in the front of people's minds. Then once a month go bigger and host coffee or lunch.
