Hey A-Lister's, Legoland's current Master Builder is moving on so NOW is your time to SHINE.

According to Boston Magazine: "To find their new brick boss, Legoland Discovery Center will conduct a multi-tiered search running until September 13. Applicants must be 18 or older, and can apply either online or in-person."

Job Description:

Are you a people person? As well as building the center's attractions, you would also help teach Lego building classes and conduct media interviews with the press. The official Legoland description says this:

"This exciting role will have you designing, building, removing, installing, and repairing all models at the attraction, including MINILAND®. As the resident LEGO® building expert, you will help teach others by running workshops, speaking with media and participating in events. We are looking for someone with flair who has the ability to create a wide range of models. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of the attraction including liaising with our customers and children across this busy entertainments attraction."

How to Apply

Legoland says: There are four ways to apply to participate in Brick Factor and to be awarded the job of Master Model Builder. Up to 50 contestants will be selected to participate and must be available for the entire day on Saturday, September 26th at Baxter Park at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA. The winning applicant will be announced publically at the conclusion of the event. See below for the ways to apply:

Send us your resume and either a 250 word personal statement with a photo of an original build (8 MB maximum) or a link to a 90 second video telling us why you have what it takes to be the next Master Model Builder.

Enter your application from August 14 – September 7. Encourage your friends and family to vote for you from September 8 – 13 and the three applicants with the most votes will be guaranteed spots at Brick Factor. Winners of Brick Factor spots will be notified on September 18.
In Person - (2) winners will be guaranteed spots at Brick Factor. Builds accepted from August 22 – 31 and voting will occur from September 1 – 13. Winners of Brick Factor spots will be notified on September 18.
Visit LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston from August 22 – 31 to submit a build which will be on display for guests to vote for their favorite. Builds cannot be larger than 1’ x 1’ x 1’. Upon submission you will need to complete a short written statement about the build and provide a resume or completed employment application. Builds will be on display from September 1 – 13 inside LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston and each day every visitor to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will have the opportunity to submit one vote for their favorite build. The two builds with the most votes will be awarded guaranteed spots at Brick Factor. Winners will be notified on September 18.
Adult Night - (1) winner will be guaranteed a spot at Brick Factor at Adult Night on September 16
Have you experienced our Adult Night? Come and compete in one of our build-offs at our Adult Night. Contestants will be given a limited amount of time to create their build, which will be displayed for votes. The build with the most number of votes at the end of the evening will be awarded a spot at Brick Factor.
